After a hiatus of nearly three years, recently I was finally able to visit my family village Krókio in Greece. The village is situated in the southeastern area of the fertile Thessalian Plain, surrounded by vineyards, orchards and fields of cotton, wheat, vegetables and animal feed—often known as Greece’s breadbox. While unassuming during the day, at dusk the fields absolutely sparkle in glowing shades of green and gold—I have done my best to capture a handful of these.
